Built to harness natural light with extensive glazing to its north and south facades 5 Bourke is targeting a 5 star green rated building that provides approximately 4,800 square meters of commercial floor space over 6 floors.
Versatility was a key factor in design, with fluid space created through interconnecting levels, dedicated meeting rooms, breakout areas and kitchen facilities on every level, plus balconies and outside spaces.
Large floor plates with minimal columns provide opportunity for multiple fit out design solutions. The building will target a 5.5-star NABERS energy rating and 5-star Green Star Design.

Sustainable design
5 Bourke is the outcome of the City of Sydney Council’s rigorous ‘Competitive Design Policy’ which invited three leading architectural firms to each submit a design for 5 Bourke. A Panel then assessed and reviewed each proposal to arrive at the winning design for 5 Bourke, which was submitted to Council as part of the Stage 2 Development Application.
